Nicolaashoeve is situated in Unesco world heritage the Beemster. In the past, the Beemster used to be a lake, but in 1612 the lake has been drained, which resulted in the fertile clay of the Beemster.
For decades, the farm is run by the family Konijn. It is a real family business, where Louis, his wife Betsie and all their children put their heart and soul into the farm. With passion for humans, animals and nature, the farm is place of living and working. This results in our beautiful fields of tulips, the delicious potatoes (Beemster Eerstelingen) and our happy and healthy cows. Fair and fine products is what we are aiming for. But the farm is more than a farm only.
